Can anyone tell me if this lens will fit a digital camera? I'm thinking if I'm getting a dSLR sometime I might go for the Maxxum 5D only because I have two lenses for my film-eater already, then I'd only have to get the body. The new one I just got today will work digital, but I can't seem to find any info about this one...
Thanks.

The ad says its for a Nikon mount, so it won't fit on the Maxxum without an adapter. |

Oh, well, I guess that's not the exact one I have. I mean, I already have the lens, I think it was the kit lens that came with the camera when my parents first got it about fifteen years ago. I haven't been able to find a good hit for it online anywhere.

Older sigmas often need rechipped to work with more modern cameras. Not sure the cost or turnaround time, and not all old lensees can be rechipped.
