have given out since you have been here.

I have given out only 38. I was surprised as I thought it would have been more than that! Granted i dont manage to vote as much as I would like ( life getting the way LOL). I have been here since July last year.

Are you surprised at your stats?

Where does one obtain their score by score voting stats?

Go to favourites, then manage your favourites ,then view your statisically favourite photographs :-)

I have given around 43 ... life and all that .. but I do a reasonable amount of voting ... and often wait to be almost stunned before I give a ten.

That list stops at 100, or I have given out exactly 100 10's, one or the other...

I've been here since September 2005. On my statistically favourite photos page it shows 100 photos, all have been rated 10. I would imagine I have given out more than that but the page only shows the top 100 (or most recently voted on).

I'm stingy. Only 20 out of 8500+ votes cast. I guess you really have to WOW me.

yeh mine stopped at 100 out of 14,482 (cant be right). my statistically fave photographer is

fluxn

and he

has the my most votes

86 out of 10400 votes. I've always fancied that I do about one 10 in 100 votes. I'm not too far off 1:121.

Here is the kicker... according to site guidlines a 10 means "good".

This means that you thought only 86 images are "good" out of the 10,400 you have evaluated. Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?

I should add I have cast only 1375 voted for my 38 10's! maybe I am not so bad after all!!!

I don't have to check...I know I have been stingy....:( I have been looking at ten as perfect, which I think no one really is in an art so subjective...

I once got a 99% in a math class. I had perfect attendence, and 100% on every test. The instructor told me "no one is perfect, so I gave you 99"
I guess it stuck with me..

I am rethinking my position, and I think it is better for me to see it as...Ten is the best in this particular challenge, not neccesarily perfect.

Lesson here..look for higher marks from me :) !!

That's the thing, voting is such a subjective thing. Everyone has different standards and criteria for a 10.

Thats why these stats are so interesting!

I also think everyone is entitiled to give out as many or as little 10's as they like and in the end any vote is a good vote!

I give 3 "10s" for every challenge.

Well, I vote on a curve, and so there tends to be about one 10 in 100 pictures. You can see I tend to do this with my average vote given almost perfect at 5.55. I think it's a bit higher because I tend to cheat and don't give as many 1s and 2s as I could just cuz I think that's a bit cruel. In other words, I don't give 1:100 one scores...

Dang I'm stingy. 11,626 votes and 76 tens. I need that WOW factor to give a 10 too. Thats like 0.01% get tens lol

9,873 votes cast and only 10 tens..there are kinda like a special reserve for me, aged and only brought out for special occasions..
lots of 9's though..

I never really though about it but after 13079 votes I've yet to give a 10. If memory serves the only 1 or 2s I've given out were for blank (all black or all white) images.

34 10s out of 8,885 votes. I tend to give one or two tens in a challenge and a load of 9s and 8s for the really good stuff. I think once or twice I have given no 10s or three.
