Since being into photography?
Since being at DPC?
For each Challenge you enter or try to enter?
etc etc.
I am just trying to see if good quality photo's come with alot of shooting and getting familar with your equipment or are some people just born with it.
Funny to see this post today, I just rolled over my 10D from 9999 back to 0001 for the first time... =]
I've had a digital camera since Spring 2000 and I count somewhere in the neighborhood of 30k images since then... Of course I used to take less and keep less with my old digicams... These days I think nothing of using my 9 shot buffer... =]
For Challenges I ususally shoot anywhere from 10 to 100+ frames depending on the challenge...
Yeah I have about 6,000 in 10 months on my Pentax. But in total I am about 7,500 or so. And I think I am noticing some improvements. I use to always shoot in Auto mode no matter what type of camera. But I am beginning to learn M and setting all the features up.
About 12000 on the rebel. maybe 10000 on the previous sony V3 probably 20000 on the V1 and 2-3000 on the DSC-P71. total, about 45000 shots in the last 3 years. As you can see, good photography doesn't necessarily come with the amount of shots you take... ;-p
In the past 2 years since I got my first D70, I am at about 43,000. If you include when I got my first digital (Sony DSC-S85) I have shot 56,400+ total between 3 cameras! :)
So in 4 years over 56,000!!! I'd say that's alot! :)

whoa...thats 4 x 365 = 1,460 days - 1 for leap year and 56,000 divided by that is like 38.38 photos a day...every day.
In the year and a half or so I had my Canon A70 I shot ~7500. Since I got my D50 in late November, a little over 5000. I shot 2300 of those the week I was home for Christmas!
11,000 on my Ds in just over 10 months. When I move to Vancouver in June, I expect it to jump dramatically.. I think I could put on 35-40,000 by the two year anniversary.
I just checked my external hard drive where I store all my photos, and there are 75,000 + files on there.
A lot are crap and many are duplicates.
But it still scares me how many there are.
