This is my first flash site. I completly redid my site. How does my flash load, the movie is 211kb. Should not be too bad for highspeed internet. Let my know what you think. I need to put music to it, if anyone know were I can get a file that I can use let me know.

Thanks,
Travis

Well, it's... pink.

Kidding aside, it loads quickly. Not my choice of color schemes but I'm most likely not your target audience. I'm assuming that the women would be searching for the wedding photographer and not the men so it may appeal to them more.

I'm not really a simple viewer fan. I like to have a functioning back button and a different layout but that's me. Have you considered a wrapper so that when people visit the various galleries they will immediately know it's your site? I think it would also be better to have all the galleries match. As it is now there's the wedding look and then there is the other look. Feels like multiple sites and not one unified site.

Might also be nice to convert your documents to pdf so that they are more universal. There are several errors in the page code. They don't affect layout because browsers accommodate bad code but it's always better to write it correctly.

I'd also consider getting rid of the intro. There's nothing more annoying to me than an intro to a website. I go to websites to get information. Intros just slow getting the information. It also wastes bandwidth because most people just blow past them anyway.

The main image with the man kissing the woman from behind and your contact information in a box over the columns on the left is over sharpened producing halos in various parts of the photo. The fonts are also very difficult to read.

Those are my 2 cents.

Congratulations on redoing your site.

SimpleViewer works for me but like TechnoShowroom mentioned, the page should feel like it is part of your site, you need to have navigation on the page and there needs to be consistancy between all of the SimpleViewer pages IMO. All of the thumbnail images didn't always load for the SimpleViewer page. While on the subject of your galleries, since this is your 'wedding photography' site, why have you included Nature, Children, and Portrait galleries?

I would also eliminate the intro. Maybe incorporate the feelings and mood from the intro into other pages on your site.

I'm not sure it is a good idea to make your model release form available for download. I would have clients fill out the release form in person. Again, maybe that's just me.

Having your e-mail address listed on your site is also going to increase your chances of getting hit with tons of spam. You have a contact page with a contact form, just use that.

I think you need more contrast between the text, visited link text included, and your background colors on your home and contact page. Your contact information on these two pages is nice and clear, but it seems a little isolated from the rest of the content. I'm also not a big fan of black backgrounds, but that is just my personal taste.

I would also add more content to the site. Pretty much the only information I see is that your wedding coverage arrangements start at $1450.

Again, congratulations on the new site. I hope these comments are helpful. - risu81
