I'll be starting a new business within few days. Part of this business is I will sell frames. I needed to photograph one in order to make a "catalog-like" page showing the products. I didn't have a nice professionnal setup full of strobe and back drops so I made the most I could. Here's the shot I started with:
with a lot of editing I ended up with this one:
Would people be nice enough just to tell me if that is good enough for my purpose and if not how I can improve it? |

I think you did a great job with the edit.
For shooting the frame in the first place.....try pulling it away from the wall and using a shallow DOF. It may make the editing easier if the background is blurred and all one tone instead of having to deal with the shadow from the frame.

| Thanks jennifer. It reassure me. the catalog will be printed in the middle of next week so I need to get things fine before that. |
