Why I can not access some of DPC photos ID when I use Mozilla Firefox. I never have had this kind of problem with Explorer.

What do you mean?

I'm using Firefox and don't have that problem.

Same here - no problems with Firefox.

Something about your security settings, I recall reading. Somethign about going into preferences or setup and clicking to allow all content from DPC. Maybe somebody who has the details can post them; I've never had the problem.

The difference is when I check properties of somepictures

you can see it here:
properties of the same picture on Explorer vs Mozilla

You're comparing apples and oranges: the circled items do not refer to the same data. Explorer shows a file name; Firefox shows alternate text. Alternate text--information included with the html reference to the image--is intended to describe the image in text only browsers, pages read aloud by machine, or browsers with image display option turned off. Try your comparison on some other websites. You'll probably find that the alternate text--if present--is more informative than the file name.

I have no problems with either at dpchallenge -- I do however have problems with internet explorer at some other web pages since doing the last auto update thing...I usually use firefox for certain pages where I know problems will exist, but ie for everything else because I just like it better...it's more 'smooth'

Thanks for the explanation. Can you tell me a different way than checking the alternate text to see DPC picture ID when I use Firefox, please. Why do some pictures on DPC have the info for the alternate text and some do not?

In Firefox, resize that properties box and make it wider. You'll then see the xxxxx.jpg filename.
