ok, so no one probably noticed, but my shiny new D200 and that horrible grey icon convinced me that I should really renew my DPC membership.
Oh, and the portfolio function. :)
My submission for Duotones (which is distinctly average) was the safe choice given some of the critical maulings that kiddy pics get, but I really wanted to share these pics of my beautiful daughter (8 weeks old today) with you all. I'm really quite pleased with the duotone effect, not something I'd every tried before (indeed had to google it before I actually understood what it was), and so just another reason to thank DPC.

I wouldn't normally have gone with the duotone effect, but you gotta go with the challenge rules! I'll post the uncolourised ones into my portfolio later on.
