This site was requested to me, and so I have just joined. Is this a place that I will eventually get the hang of??
Its all a bit confusing at the moment.

You'll definately get the hang of it. Just remember to take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt (or more if needed)! :)
Seriously, though, this is one of my favorite places to hang out.

thank you for the welcoming :D i figured out how to change my profile! that took about 5 minutes hehehe.
i've always wondered if there was a site like this, and if there wasn't, I'd eventually have got round to making one. So glad i discovered it

Welcome! First thing you should do is upload some pictures to your portfolio so we can see what you can do:P
Make sure to resize them to 640 pixels though, that way it will save space in your portfolio.

Take Everything with a grain of salt or more - got the salt shaker next to me ready
Click Everything - that was a very valuable piece of advice, it was quite fun. Though i just kept clicking and forgot to read what i was doing
Upload Pictures and resize them - Well, other way round, think most of mine are 640 x 480 anyway so thats cool
Kiss loved ones, well.. no-ones in so that'll have to wait. Well Dads in but he's just eaten fish so... thats tough love
impressed i got lots of responses... I'll upload some images for you's!

I like to see watch people work progress...expecially young people. Heck...most of the photogs in my fav list are under 20, lol.

right, the day has come where i can now afford to subscribe for a membership, thus done and some of my images added!!
a lot of my photos are on the laptop though, which i have broken and have to wait to see if it can be saved, before knowing whether my photos can be saved. if not, i'll be pretty pissed at myself!
anyhoo, i've added some of my collection, please comment accordingly and give me much constructive criticism.
