I finally got my Nikon D200!!! WooHoo! But now I have a question. The manual says to uninstall Nikon View before loading PictureProject. If I do that, will I be able to still download images from my Nikon D100? And what is the difference between the PictureProject and the Nikon Capture that they refer to (that you can download a free trial version of.) Thanks for your help!

i installed PictureProject with Nikon View
i don't like the PP interface as much as the old NV
-- they do work together but you get nonfatal errors ...
PP works fine with D100 as well though ..

Capture is more of an "editor" where PP & NV are viewers only (with minimal editing capability ..)

Forget PictureProject and download the latest Nikon View. You will also need to upgrade Nikon Capture if you haven't already.

I agree Nikon Capture is the only way to go and for $100 its cheap for what it does. Its a must have.

Good Luck!
