Nice shots! Are you an official photographer for the artists or venues, or did you get those shots on a regular "press pass" or something?

Yeah...i have the same question. There is no venue around where I live that would have acts of that size that would allow just anyone to take in a camera.

I wish I could get my camera into shows. i haven't even had a chance to shoot a band since i got my D70.

Probably, my fav out of all the posted pics is the Sigur Rós shot. Very nice.

yeah i love shooting bands. for a year i shot underground punk shows in oakland (//www.dogmalice.com/pyrates/pyratePage.htm) but now i've moved to fort lauderdale and the scene out here is a lot different.

ahhh...cant wait to move back to the bay area in septmember.

I usually have an press pass for the newspaper I'm shooting for. But sometimes I just talk to the people managing the venues and get a pass from them. That is the beauty about living in Iceland. There are so few photographers shooting for the magazines so there is almost no problem getting a pass.

Sometimes I'm shooting for the band that is playing like Sigur Rós in the picture I posted. But obviously not for the foreign larger bands :)
