Does anyone here use www.deviantart.com to show/sell their work? I made a free account recently and really like the way the site is set up. It's a bit cluttered with so many links and things, and takes a bit of getting use to.
Do any of you sell prints on this site? I was thinking about trying it. It only costs $25 for a year, but there's something like 19 million pieces of work on this site and was wondering how often people come across your work.

Last time I had an account their in 2004 I had stuff for sell but never sold anything. The 19 million+ are probrably just deviations. But not total prints being sold. I would expect the prints being sold are in the 2-4 million range. Also it seems that alot of stuff they have their are not photography related prints. But digital art ie computer drawings.

| You might like to know that the price for a photo account is actually 25$ for life! The rule of thumb at deviantart is that you need a good, established fan base to worship your photos, then you can think about your prints becoming popular enough to sell almost weekly. My bitter two cents... |

| I had a photo that was a featured print on the homepage one time and i still never sold anything. Got a lot of views and comments though... |
