Hey, just thought I'd let people know that my Nikon D70 is up for sale on ebay, along with 3 lenses: 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 and 50mm f/1.8. In case anyone is interested.
Nikon D70 on ebay
What do you think the final price will be? Hopefully enough to cover the rest of my outstanding debt due to my D200 :)

Don't know but hope it is enough to cover what ebay will charge you with all those photos.
Damn.

Went from around $200.00 USD to $510.00 USD
Hope you get a good price on it. |

Generally it's better to sell those things separately. Just think: how many people would want this exact combination of a camera and three lenses? There would be more people who'd be willing to go after each of the lens (the 18-70mm and the 50mm are very popular). And those, who want to get several of the items, can always bid on them separately. If you want, it's not too late to cancel the bid and re-post the items.

Well the disadvantage is that I would have to post 4 different ebay listings + 4 different shipping boxes, which, according to me, are a pain in the ass.
Also, a lot of people want to buy the Nikon D70 with the kit lens, and wont buy them seperately. Secondly, the value of the 70-300mm and the 50mm is almost nothing compared to the kit, so they are effectively a bonus for anyone who's already interested in the kit.
(If I make only 75$ more because of those two lenses, i'll be happy.)

I didn't realize that it was the older MF 50mm f/1.8. I think that the 70-300 should sell for around $70 (they are being sold for about $120 new), and the MF 50mm is worth at least $30. But, of course, this means more work in communication and packaging, as you pointed out. Anyways, I didn't mean to insist. Good luck! |
