Okay, I know both of these have been addressed before, but when I did a search it didn't come up.
I've had a request for prints. I have no idea how much to charge for them. Also, is there an affordable place that makes prints in the VA area? When I want to see what something would look like as a print, I usually just take it to Office Depot and let them print it on their laser printer. But, it seems if I'm going to sell it, maybe I should do something more formal?
There's only one photo place that I know of locally that can handle digital prints. They're 1) not that affordable, 2) Back when I was still using film, they destroyed two rolls of film on me. Neither of those roles could have been reshot.... especially since one of them had a picture I took of my grandfather just a couple of weeks before he died. All they offered me in compensation was a free roll of film. So, I won't take my stuff to them anymore, and I bad mouth them every chance I get. |
