Greetings all,
This morning I awoke to 22 new comment notifications in my inbox, with the usual click here to see the comment. Being overjoyed with the sudden interest in my site I happily clicked each one, and every one had no new comments attached to the image linked (there were about 18 or so images for the 22 links), they were from different galleries of mine as well, although none of the passworded ones,so I went onto my site, checked the control panel, no new comments at all, whats going on here, this seems odd to say the least so I contacted smugmug.

I recieved the following email from Toni at smugmug in a matter of minutes,

"Thanks for writing. We had a comment spammer overnight. Our engineers have worked to resolve the problem and delete any comments that were spam. They could not, however, recall emails our system had already sent.

You can compare notes with other smugmug customers (and read updates on the situation) at our forum Digital Grin. //www.dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 "

Just thought I'd spread the word in case other smuggers run into this.
Mike
