It depends - if I sleep in the bed, I'll start out either on my tummy or my side. Once I'm asleep, I'll be rolling all over the place. If I happen to crash out on the couch, then I'm usually stationary on my back or side.

I usually sleep on my side because when I'm on my back I stop breathing... sleep apnea. :-( But I only get to sleep a couple hours a night, so I guess that lessens my chances of turning over during the night and not waking up.

I usually sleep on my right side clinging to the edge of the mattress with my tiny corner of the blanket firmly grasped in fist(for that added security of not falling off the bed)*hubby is totaly a bed and cover hog!* Ive slept like this for so long that i now have to throw the covers on hubby if i have enough blanket to cover my feet. :o/

Greetings,
On my stomach, head planted in the pillows, with one pillow crunched under my forehead to lift my head a bit so I can breathe, feet hanging off the end of the bed, with a fan next to the bed blowing on me, year round.

I'm a college student, most of my sleeping is done during microeconomics, sitting in my desk, trying to look attentive. ;-)

Honestly, though, I sleep on my stomach and left side most when I actually make it to my bed.

Sitting up. I work long hours and have 2 year old twin girls plus an 11 year old son.

I've never heard of sleep apnea. Sorry to hear about it.

even have a side preference! u serious?

Yup, very serious. When I first go to bed I'll lie on my back for about two minutes, then stretch to the left, then stretch to the right. Curl up with my left leg on a body pillow. The pillow under my head folded in half with my right hand between the fold and my left arm hugging the body pillow.

I used to snuggle up to my wife, but once she had our daughter her body chemistry changed and she runs too hot at night to cuddle with without sweating to death.

Seriously.
