This weekend the exhibition "Photo of the Year 2005" opened in an local gallery here in Iceland. I was the exhibition manager and it was alot of work and I'm glad it is opned. We also published a book with the 230 photos that made it to the exhibition. Got the first books on friday and they look amazing. Three judges picked the photos for the exhibition and the ones that won. Among the judges was Terje Bringedal, picture editor for Verdens Gang in Norway. Just wanted to share the ones that won in each category with you.

Would you be able to post here a translation of what I imagine is the category & place on each photograph? (I mean the brief phrase that appears before the photographer's name)
