I am attempting to do a duotone and want to save it in a jpeg format (to post) but pshop doesn't give me the option. is there a way to do this? Thanks |

Make sure your mode is RGB (under the Image menu).

Duotone is not an option when you are in rgb - or maybe I am missing something. |

The easiest way I've seen is to flatten your image once you're all done, then go to Image -> Mode -> RGB. It shouldn't remove the duotone effect, but it should convert the colors to a standard RGB for web viewing. |

make sure your file is in 8 bit when finished then the jpg option should show up

In case anybody ever reads this thread again, Save for Web... in Photoshop will save in jpeg without having to convert to rgb first. The working image remains in duotone mode. |
