Now I know in any sort of public forum there will be a few rotten apples in the bunch (not trying to depend on idioms for my question), but what can you do if you feel you are being "attacked" by someone you gave a low score to, and in turn gives you one because of that? Is that just part of the challenges on this site?
I don't wish to disqualify the individual or ruin their chances of continuing to submit photos, but I feel this person has left me feeling... well, puzzled to why they need to attack me on my opinon.
As a second time submitter for a challenge, I'm still very new. Any words of advice would help. Please pm me or reply to the thread. Thanks! |

Unless you commented on that person's photo stating you gave a low score, they won't know that you scored them low. Also that person won't know which is your photo in the current challenge so they can't single you out to score it low either. It is probably only coincidence. |

There's no way they can know what score you gave them unless you tell them. Don't tell and you won't have this problem. Comments are another matter. Are you being attacked in PMs because of a comment?? |

They PMed me after I left a comment (I didn't put the score; in fact, I think I didn't score it, but if I did I gave it a one), and found my photo in the challenge. Perhaps trolling?
Once again, I'm pretty new to this, and if anything I don't want to cause an annoyance, but I'm a little puzzled on what I should do. |

Yes. I commented with simply "I don't see the relation with the topic." (or along the same lines).

It's in a current challenge and I can't find that button.

Sorry to hear this thevesselinyourbruises. I have a question though. Because you are anonymous until afterwards, how can they know that it's your image if it's in a current challenge? Also, how do you know that they gave you a one?

And how exactly could they have done that? Unless you told the person the title of your photo in your comment. |

I honestly have no idea.
Here's a screen shot from the voting:
Once again, this is all new to me. I have no idea, maybe it was sheer coincidence? |

Ok, so I did a very n00bish thing:
1) Forgot to post the image:
2)Tried to reply to a post and accidentally REPORTED it.
*sighs* Off to a good start so, eh?
Anyways, now that I'm looking at this, possibly coincidence? I'm not sure how to take it (especially with the PMs I received).

I'd take out the little bit of your picture thats in the image, its not grounds for DQ but it usually doesn't go over well to give away which one is yours... |
