We're looking into seeing a bit of the American outdoors later this year (Yosemite, sequoia, Grand Canyon), we will be camping mostly but will have a car (or RV). My question is how could I charge the batteries for my Nikon D50? Has anyone come across this before?
Also I'm in the UK if that helps...

Here in Japan they sell 100V adapters that fit in the cars ciggarette lighter and provide 100V at 100W enough power to charge your D50 and run your laptop too while driving along but dont forget to keep 1 eye on the road.. Im not sure they sell them in UK or not but I would imagine they do sell them in the states.

I use mine all the time very handy for many things

I use a power charger to refresh my D70. Also to run my G3 laptop that is connected to my GPS for up to the second mapping of where I am at. Works very well.
