Well, I've been wanting to upgrade to the 50 f/1.4, and after testing my 28mm against the new wide zoom I got It feel that I can safely sell these two lenses, and upgrade to the f/1.4. I've got these posted on Fred Miranda already, but here's the scoop:
The 28 is in pristine condition, no scratches or wear on the barrel or the glass. Includes original front/rear caps. Date code: US04xx
$130 (shipped CONUS) (paypal, add 3%) SOLD!
The 50 has one scratch on the front of the lens, but there is no discernible effect on the images it produces. Includes original rear cap. The front cap is a canon cap, and it fits, it just not the original one. THIS IS A SHARP COPY. Date code: UB02xx
$150 (shipped CONUS) (paypal, add 3%) SOLD!
There are more pics of the lenses here.
I also have Hoya UV filters that I'll throw in if someone from DPC buys the lens(es).

I think the scratch is kinda bothering people on the 50, any pics of the scratch, or any example pics to share.. |

Maybe it's the fact that you can get a brand spanking new 50 1.8 off of B&H for $80.....????
Am I missing something?
The 28mm seems reasonable. |

Yeah, that is the Mk2. Whit a plastic mount. This is the Mk1, which is no longer in production. It has a metal mount, and a sturdier build. |

Yes, it's a beautiful lens... If I could rationalize having two 50mm primes, I would keep this one in a heart beat... |
