i hate valentine's day because it no longer holds a pure meaning to me. it's too commercialized and stressful |

Everyday is Valentine's day at my house.
Don't see any need to support a special day for lover's when every day should be special between a couple. Do the small things daily. If it matters to her or him, and it is within your ability to accomodate, then do it. Rub a back, massage a foot, open a door, pack a lunch, iron a shirt, peel an orange or prepare a meal. Lots of ways to let someone know that they are special to you.
Solid long term relationships are about caring.

A male friend paid £8 ( $12?) for a single red rose yesterday!!!! It's a total con! I agree that it's 365 days a year that count not 14th Feb. Saying "I love you" and meaning it is more important.
