Can anyone suggest a good on-line or DVD-based learning course for Photoshop? I have CS2, and Mac.
I need something that starts right from the basics, because what little I know is probably wrong anyway. |

Photoshop CS2 has a pretty extensive help and tutorial section built into it. I have the Windows version, but I'm sure the Mac version is more or less identical. Give that a shot, that's where I learned everything I know about Photoshop (granted that's not really all that much more than the basics either) and it's free with the program.

Thank you! Some great suggestions - I had tried with the CS2 supplied manual, but wanted something with video/tutorial demonstrations as well. I'll follow the leads you've suggested. Cheers! |

Paul-Use a few of the tutorials and you'll find most of it pretty intuitive from thereon. I'm no expert when it comes to advanced work but the basic functions of the necessary tools are easy to grasp for straightforward editing.
Good Luck and have fun...actually, there's no luck involved...just fun.
Cheers!
