I think this has been mentioned before and I don't know how easy it is to implement, but I would love to be able to offer different discounts to groups of people (DPCers, friends & family, work colleagues). Preferably using a discount code or something.

For example, I'd love to be able to give family a 50% discount (or charge cost, whichever is the higher amount), work colleagues a 10% discount and DPCers and friends a 25% discount, something like that.

I would post a message on the company bulletin board to say "10% discount", email me to receive the code. That kind of thing. People love to think they get a bargain :)

I was just coming to make a simliar suggestion.

The talent at DPC is incredible. There are great photographers out there, and I see they are selling prints of their work for literally pennys.

While I think members should be able to do that with each other -- by selling photos to the public at these cheap rates -- we are devaluing the quality work. I don't think we should give it away for free to the public. Heck, galleries can buy this work, frame it and make a killing!! That isn't right...

I am sad to see prices so cheap on DPC prints for some outstanding work. Art fairs would charge a lot, lot more for these!

I think we should have base prices to keep the value of the work.

Just a thought,
Renee

yes. Thus far, when someone I know has wanted something, I have gone on and manually dropped the price down.
