i'm an Aeron user/fan. Definately think that you should buy the most expensive chair you can afford.

think of it this way...

if you sit in your chair 12 hours a day 5 days a week [i know maybe unrealistic, a lot of computer users are 7 days a week] that is 3120 hours a year...29 cents an hour for a real chair? [$900] I would gladly pay the 29 cents an hour to save my back.

spread that cost over a period of 2-5 years which is more realistic, and then compare that to the potential cost of injury, fatigue, etc.

I got my mom to switch from a big leather captains chair to a $700 task chair and she Loves it.
