Hi, I have just finished rebuilding my site. Wanted to see if anyone can give me a couple helpfull remarks on the new build.
There are a couple sections still under progress... but those are just a few broken image placers.
littlegett.com is the site.
I am also hosting a photo contest where the winner will win a cash prize. Only a $1.00 to enter.
Thanx in adavance.

First the positives: Your photos are nice, and you've done a good job of watermarking them as unobtrusively as possible. I always like a black background for photography sites as it makes the colors really POP -- good job on that.
Negatives:
Several of the links on the right do not work, or lead to pages with rows of broken images.
Also, I've done web design at various levels of seriousness (professionally for about two years in the late 90's, mostly just on a hobby level, though, with some stuff for friends) since the days of blinking NEW icons, and looking around at what's out there today, the overall look of your site seems to be perhaps a little dated. The table borders and "buttonized" thumbnails, and shiny font, in particular. It's all serviceable (or would be if you got the links working that don't now), and it doesn't look BAD, it just doesn't look as fresh and new as perhaps is standard nowadays, for graphic-related sites especially.
Also, looking at it in Firefox, your text has line breaks in odd places.
Please don't take offense.

Thanx very much for your input. Im still working for the broken images.. I should have just placed under construction entead of the dead page... that is my mistake.. and FoxFire browser does do weird things to pages L()L..
I understand about the 'dated look', its the feel I wanted really. I want the photography to stand out and not the page design itself. Make things easy to find and get to.
I have done a lot of browsing of sites, and it seems more and more 'graphic' sites like photography sites are going to flash. Personaly I don't care for the flash sites. Specialy if trying to browse with a slower connection.
I tried to make it accessable to various connection speeds without to much 'down' time waiting for things to load. Lots of little java scripts I have taken off from the orginal.. like the image fade and new windo popup for the images.
Thank you very much for your comments.

edit new comment- The table borders you see is because of Foxfire. In the codeing and IE and NS the borders all match the background. so you don't see the borders. its something I wish Foxfire would fix. Iether that or its because I have the developer stuff for fixfire L()L and never use it L()L.
