| Hi. I am a college student, studying Graphic Design and Photography. I work at a retail store and hate it. I would like to replace my job with one that will help me gain more experience in the design/photo feild. I beleive I have the skills(dpchallenge is not a reflection of my actual work. Its a reflection of my highschool work) but lack any sort of networking, or social experience. Any thing you guys would suggest to me as far as what to look for, who to talk to, how to act, ect. I have the ambition but lack the social knowledge which makes it hard for me to achieve what I want. I would love some help if you guys could. Thanks. |

try looking around in local papers, photo stores (i worked in one and got lots of side jobs and great discounts!) studentphoto.com, craigslist, selling your work in local art shows, i may sound like a dork but i look online all the time to find any little thing that can get my name out there.
