We all know about the free Virtual Photographer from Optikverves Lab but how about the Free dynamic flash photo player. If you want to set up a quick flash photo ablum on your website this seems easy enough to setup.
(guess it's been there a while and I've been overlooking it)

I just tried out SimpleViewer and Porta to create a test flash based photo gallery on my website. |

I'm actually about to blow my site away and do a full Swish (poor mans flash) site...
I ran across this Badazz template that I might just go with...

I think I still like the SimpleViewer direction. |

i am working on modifying the SimpleViewer FLA file - to customize the layout, and functionality. anyone else delved into this feat?
i also installed SimpleViewerAdmin - to be able to run multiple galleries and upload images, via a DPC like panel. the admin addon requires your server run php 4.1 or above allow GDimage, SAX and XML. you also need to be sure safemode is off.
SimpleViewerAdmin
to see if your server supports these items.
create a text file, and add this to it
save the file as phpinfo.php and upload to your server. then point the browser to the phpinfo.php file - you should get a long page of all the php settings as the server has them configured.

Does this program do flash type stuff? Can you add music to it?
I want to do a flash intro for my new wbesite..... but I don't know how to do a flash (nor do I have the program for it)
I tried to do a ghetto one on my test site with my slideshow program... but some people don't have the player that it requires. So, I am at a stand still now.
*edit - duh, flash program! - yeah it's been a long day!

Soup,
I just tried to use the admin stuff.... it didn't work out so well for me yet. I had difficulty trying to add pictures to a gallery. I haven't had much time to debug yet but the server is in my house.

Soup, I looked at your personal site and it seems to have a lot of flash? |

I haven't been able to get it to load on my page. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. But I am going to throw the computer soon! Grrrrrrrr |

the images have to be non-progressive JPG's
i am working on it myself. my current site is set up with something called 'imageWeaver' there is a link to the creator at the bottom right.
