The lightness in the right hand side, above the building. How can
I make that darker, like the rest of the sky, so it looks like its one shade? Also, please tell me what I could have done to make this look better. :)

Try this:
create an adjustment layer, levels or curves, whichever you feel more comfortable with
once you have created the layer, change the levels(curves) to achieve desired lightness in the desired area
then, using gradient tool, select which area you want your levels to apply to. That way you can gradually make the change you want.
Am I close?
ps. looking at your profile, it is interesting to note that you've got your first camera in 1926 (when you were 5 yrs old). What model was that? :-)

Actually I have a camera from 1926. A No. 1A Pocket kodak. 50 cent at a yard sale. go me.
