Assignment:
1) Photograph 25 year old SWF with no modeling experience.
2) Produce a body of work consisting of 15 to 20+ images
to be used in a Book/Album
3) The photos must be Sensual, Playful, Respectful, Authentic, and
Mysterious. Above all the images must take the viewer on an emotional journey that is in alignment with the subjects persona.

Well... How did I do?

Special note: I bring these images to you with client approval. I've been editing down the images (840+ of them) for 4 weeks now. All the iamges have been approved by my client, however I feel after spending this much time on them ,I am loosing focus.

Well, I honestly have to say that I don't care for the majority of the shots. To me, the lighting in most of them appears dim and uneven (but not in an artful way.) The skin tones (white balance?) also vary greatly among the shots with 494 I think being the best. Some seem very grayish or cool.

I also don't care for the poses. She's just trying way too hard to be sexy IMO. My favorite shots are 983 and 494. Also, hoping not to hurt any one's feelings, but her teeth do not make her smile particularly flattering. I don't know if she would want PS touch ups on them or not.

IMO they are playful, but fail in all the other areas you mentioned - although the 983 (I think...the nude partial lighting) does fit the sensual pretty well.

Since I don't know the "persona" of the model, it's hard to tell if you've captured that accurately.

I hope you were looking for an honest critique.

494 has the only correct color of the bunch, Kevin, to be honest. All the rest really need a color correction. 343 just needs to be eliminated from the mix - it doesn't at all flatter her.
