Can you put a copy of the Financial times under your left arm so I can recognize you!

Well, the pink of the FT would go with the thong but not, I fear, with the fez. One does not like to see colour clashes when one is being sartorial, does one?

BTW I will be traveling under a my German alias....Heinrich Von Shtupp.

Here in the States I usually travel as Buck Thrustworthy or Lance McManix but when in Germany, do as the Germans...I always say.

Yep... Landscapes Without People, Astrophotography, Insect Macros, Pet Portraits... any of those should be fine.

No I didn't. The possibility of you guys entering a nude with sweat rules out water drops.

Pardon my laziness because I assume there's an equipment list somewhere on this thread that will be required...

I'm hoping not to have to bring a tripod with me...well, maybe a small table tripod and a monpod. I never carry or use a flash, so I was hoping that could stay behind too.

I read something about Primes but I may stick with a 28-70mm, a 70-200mm and my 12-24mm...perhaps the fisheye???

If I'm limiting myself...I can live with that but I also don't want to break my back, traveling all around by train for ten days.

I will bring things if it's absolutely necessary...Cheers!

You can bring whatever you want, think between 50 and 100MM and maybe something a littlebit wider.
I usualy only use the 85mm since I have it, before that I used the 50.
The 28-75 will come in handy I guess.
Flashes: There are enough in the studio...

Think about some lenses to bring for the 2nd day, the "walk around town, find the best beer tour"

Tripod isnt necesary I guess, and I have always a nice one in the trunck of my car, so if you need one, just ask...

I'll bet at one point or the next I'll need everything I own to get the perfect shot of whatever but the thought of carrying around so much gear is driving me crazy as is.

I need to find some travelers insurance...not a bad idea.

Is anyone interested in supplimenting the workshop on Saturday, with a bit of private practice on Sunday Morning. I can bring my Studio lights 2 x Elinchrom + umbrellas & large softbox. I have contacted a model Ninette, and she would have time, I said between 9 & 11 on Sunday morning. If anyone else would like to joine me, we could share the costs.
We would have to shoot either in a hotel room, or ask in the hotel if they have anything we could use.
If you are interested please pm me.
Here is a photo I took of her in March, plus there are a couple more in my People portfolio.

Speaking for myself of course but I'm certain that I will be suffering from sensory overload by that point. In fact, I am already suffering from sensory overload and I haven't even started to pack yet.

I don't know how much I can handle...

I have no sense so there is nothing to overload :-(

The world's most obvious oxymoron: common sense.

I might be interested, since I don't plan on getting drunk I will probably be up about 7am ready for a shoot.
but it does depend on how much it costs.

I was reading the list of participants and was checking from how many countries we are..

Iceland............. 1
England........... 1
Poland............. 1
Hungary........... 1
Norway..............2
Russia ..............2
New Zealand....2
Spain.................2
Canada............ 3
Germany.......... 3
USA...................3
Holland............ 8
---------------------------
from 12 countries
total ............... 29

has there ever been a DPC GTG with people from more countries ?
