If you are creating stock photographs, is there any benefit in upsizing a photo in CS to get a larger image. It is quite possible to upsizing a fair amount without much loss in image quality. Also what are peoples workflow for upsizing images....
many thanks

For Alamy, they insist on files of at least 48Mb. Even my Nikon D2X won't deliver files this size without upsizing.
I use the software Alamy they recommend, which is 'Genuine Fractals'
//www.ononesoftware.com/
It converts the file to a vector (size independent) file and allows upsizing by a factor of 200-400% with good results. |

just be careful- some agencies don't want you to upsize at all and you'll get the boot for it.
I upsize in 10% increments and use bicubic smoother option. But I have heard that there's no real difference than doing it all at once. (like upsizing 150% let's say...)
good luck! :0) |
