How do you feel insulted?

That has nothing to do with my question.

He said who, not why.

Then who did he insult? I see an off the cuff comment that should offend no one.

Edit to say I'm reading too fast.

If you don't plan to insult anyone, then our criteria for defining Protected Group" is irrelevant.

First of all I'm an American and I believe in free speach

Second, I am against all of this politically correct stuff anywhere.

Third, in a forum that should be open, I want to be able to state my opinion without censure. One persons insult is another persons truth

What privately owned website anywhere in the net allows vistors, members..whatever..to do as they please?

I support free speach but all the comments of "...I'm an American and I believe in free speach..." and "...I am against all of this politically correct stuff anywhere." are pointless. This is a private residence and Drew and Langdon and their proxies...the SC, run the show.

But surely the many people here complaining about this have also heard the same at other websites, many of those website are even designed for open ended ranting and they limit discussion based on the parameters of the owners of the site. Is this something new to many of the people complaining here?

Now who's with all the negative posts? Or are you letting your wife post for you again?

Not negative, just proving a point. Is it really truth that he's a moron? No, probably not. Throwing out random insults serves no purpose, freedom of speech or not.

Question. Did the insult add to the conversation, or not? Would the conversation have gone in a completely different direction had I not put that out there. I think so.

Kind of like me saying some user was a dumb-ass for saying Romania was a "pitiful country" that was not worth the time of an American to worry about. Sometimes you just have to blurt them out as they come.

In retrospect... ?
