I tried searching in the forums, but not really sure what I'm talking about...basically I have ~110 photos from a college chemistry investigation, and need to take measurements from them. To make that a whole lot easier, I need to edit them slightly, upping the contrast, tweaking levels etc. Is there a way I can create a macro type thing to redo those steps in one simple command. Or even easier, just apply it to a whole folder of files??

Thanks,
Kirsty

Ps Elements is not very friendly with actions. It also cannot perform actions that call upon other actions.

You have to manually install the actions.

Some directions here.

Basically, Adobe makes it pretty clear that they want you to buy the Full version of PS to get these advance funcions.

I have Elements 4.0 and there is a real quick and easy way to batch process them. From the file button on the right go down to batch process. It will ask you where the files are on your pc that you want done. Then it will ask you where to save them, then over on the right you can chose what you want done to them. Auto levels and such. Also on the left of the screen you can chose the size and the quality you want them saved in. I use this for photos for family events where I dont want to edit them all individually. It works for me. I have found though with mine being very large files you do need alot of memory. I run 1gb but I have also done it with 512, 256 I wouldnt recommend. Hope this helps.
