It's Sunday night at 11:10pm and I have just checked my entry to make sure it looks ok. Now I will just sit here for the next 50 minutes waiting for voting to start.
It's become a ritual with me to be here like this...I know I am addicted to DPC, but the real question is...Am I alone??? |

Anna,
With 50 registered and 23 guests online now, I don't think you are alone.
Waiting patiently,
Dick |

I'm the same way... I wait for the 9pm (for me) voting to begin and results to appear for the last challenge. :) |

I usually go away for a couple of hours about now, as watching my score go from 7.4 to 4.7 during the first hour of voting is a waste anyway .... |

Wish mine would even *start* at 7.4. :) |

Hey one time (country life) David got 4 10's in a row in the first few minutes of voting. That was pretty cool!

Well, let's see, I got my trend submission in last night...then today sat around trying to figure out a contrast entry...had a few good ideas, or thought I did until I took the pics...then I gave up around 7 or 8pm...then all of a sudden a light bulb came on over my head and I jumped up, got my camera and about a half hour later submitted for the contrast challenge...now just sitting here killing time til midnight, so I guess we're not alone... ;>)

Just uploaded contrast shot with 10 minutes to spare...why do I keep doing this? Now Like all of you I try to sit on My hands and await the final outcome for the last challenge. |

I'm beyond waiting the final outcome I want to see my first score. I can't wait to see that 7 that will undoubtable go down overnight so when I wake up I will see a 4.7...I have real optimism here. |

Now I take that last look at the new submission and ask myself did I crop it wrong? Should I have cropped in tighter? Oh well only got 4 minutes left and I am not going to change it now! First comment will be you should have cropped in tighter....lol

You're submitting a bright idea and your head as an example of contrasts? I'm not sure that's advisable, even at DPC. (Just kidding, you know!)
I on the other hand, usually have my idea in mind for days, but still shoot it in the last two hours and suffer the consequences .... |

I wasn't even going to enter for 'contrasts'. Realized on the way home from shopping today that I'd taken a contrast photo last Friday just because I thought it was neat. Took a while to put one + one together... |
