This is a photo I shot about 2 years ago, sun was going down last shot of the day. Just ran across it today while scanning other things. I have mixed feelings about it, what do you think?

Hmmm.....to be honest, i am not a fan. It just doesn't pop out at me. Then again, my laptop monitor is not calibrated and that is what I am looking at it with. My first instinct tells me I would like to see more light on the flower :) Just my 2c!

Indifferent...too dark and flat.

What I've been telling myself is that had it had just a hint of fill to pop out the colors a little it could be a nice shot, but as it is it just falls short.

If you like the composition you might be able to bring it to life by messing with the levels and then adding a "soft mood" filter.

There is a lot going on in the picture and to me the focus seems to be on the little flower lower right. Making it all soft for me adds a little dimension.

I am a bit indifferent as to the composition (seems real busy without a focal point) but I think you can still work with it to bring it to life.

Are hate to love it or love to hate it options?
