So just curious, how many of you were thrown off by the third leg in this photo?

Also, a few commented on the trees in the scene. I kinda liked those but would this have been a better crop?

And blast it, I hate my brain sometimes. I really wanted to enter the free-study but didn't get any time to do it. And just remembered a photo I took that would have been an interesting entry. I just keep watching all these entries pass me by. Just wish I had more time. Between trying to sell a house, plan a wedding, work full time, and what not.

BTW...it was a sky ride and not a hang glider...

I've been in one with my sister, that was so freaking awesome... the only problem was a technical one. we were hanging ± 20 meters above the ground, for like 15 minutes (it felt like 15, probably it was 5 minutes ;))

so yeah, I knew why there was a third leg ;)

That's a tough call on the trees. I can see it both ways. The sky's more interesting in the original crop, but losing the trees is a plus in and of itself, removing a distraction and creating a less-centered subject...

I had kinda liked the trees because it gave a feel of three layers. The silhouette, the tree layer some distance behind, and then the sky layer.

You can't really tell the distance but you can tell the layers. Oh well...guess I should have cropped it.

Some commented on the harness being too busy and that if I cloned out some of the harness lines it would have done better. Would that be legal in an ADVANCED challenge?
