By my quick count (I'm sure someone will correct me if I messed up), in the current challenges on the front page there are 28 photos that scored 7 or above and did NOT ribbon...
Really some excellent shots in all of the challenges. And I do not mean to limit that comment to just those shots that hit the 7 mark.

Indeed! The "Best of 2005" in particular was exciting to vote; even with over 800 images I never lost enthusiasm. Geez, I scored 6.97 and still wound up 20th! Sixteen folks scored higher than I did and didn't ribbon. Lotsa really good stuff in the "currently viewing" challenges that didn't ribbon. Kudos to all.

Agreed, I was still finding stuff I'd given 7s to on the 10th page! Am happy to have finished 40th in such company.
*edit* I found 7s clear down to 50-something and even a few after that which I made comments on today. Great shooting, folks!
