And rather than start another thank you thread, let me also say THANKS! My own image is pretty special to me, and I am very proud to have it place so well in this elite group of images will have me smiling all through 2006!

Yours is another one of the shots I gave 9 to. Wonderful depth and detail.

Well, it's morning, and I am still pinching myself to see if this is a dream. Thank you to everyone who entered for making this a great challenge. There were so many stunning images that I really believe any one of several dozen were worthy contenders. I feel honored and truely humbled to have been fortunate enough to have been in the right place at the right time, prepared. It was one of those moments that I live for, photographically, and it may never come along again for me.
Thank you all for your votes of confidence and the MANY comments and crits that I received. I am totally overwhelmed. |
