I tried two different methods on these photos. Any comment about which you prefer would be great. Thanks

Bottom one. It seems to have more contrast. |

Definitely this one. Composition is stronger in my opinion. And, for whatever reason, it looks much sharper.

Yep, bottom one "OC". On my monitor the detail on the trunk is superior. Nice pic. |

Thanks. I can't remember who started them on this site but there was a thread with a whole bunch. |

Definitely the second one. It pops, the first one is a bit flat. |
