I'm interested in some expert advice. The price range seems to be $60-$200. Do I need to pay $200 to get good features? What are the downfalls to the cheaper programs? I'm not interested in anything less than Pro grade software.

If you can recommend something a link and prices would be helpful. I'm sure I'm not the only one that cant find pictures. Really there has only been one that I cant find but it was a pain to find a few others that have been requested.

I like photo mechanics for downloading pictures from your memory card (www.camerabits.com)

then for selecting and browsing, iview works great and has a great interface.

After that, it's photoshop for working on pictures

Archiving I use Nero to burn to DVDs and Smart Sync pro for syncing to my external hard drive
