Posterize, equalize, and threshold are effects, and although they are not under the filters menu, they function as such and are illegal in Basic.
Invert is a special case. One can obtain an inverted-color (negative) image quite easily using curves, which is an allowed tool. The invert function (wherever it's located in the various software packages) is also legal in Basic, if applied to the whole image.
