What is ISO noise difference between Canon 10D and 300D?
At 800 ISO Rebel photos are only good for 4X6 size.
I found almostnew 10D camera for $500 and I'm thinking to change the Rebel.
Thanks! |

Don't they use the same sensor? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you'll see much improvement.

The 10D and the 300D have the same sensor. Here's the comparison from DPReview.

How much noise is present will depend on the situation. ISO 1600 can even be usable in some situations. |

If it were me I would buy the 10d , and keep the 300, that is a good price for a almost new 10d and it is a great camera. |
