I just had a very pleasing and great public relations problem with Hitachi about a 2 Gb microdrive used in my Canon 20D. After a short time it began to give me a little trouble. I bought it at CompUSA and of course did not save all of the original wrapping and plastic sales containers. CompUSA absolutely refused, all the way to their main office, to assist, replace or even show any concern. An e-mail to Hitachi and they were extremely quick and very courteous getting it respolved. I now have the new microdrive and surprise surprise it just happens to be much larger than the original. That is what I call service. They didn't ask any questions on how or possibly why it was giving me trouble. I would recommend them to anyone. I know some do not like the microdrive system but their service is without eqyal.
