We have 70 owners but I haven't seen any good samples yet !
Owners.are you happy with the camera?
What is the biggest improvement compared to the old camera you have?

How is the easy to use,carry around,is it worth 3000$ + ?

Show some good samples.

The 5D is a great great camera. Easy to carry around, operates just as easy as the 20D just with a bigger viewfinder. You really see the difference! Picture quality is amazing, I didn't think I would notice any difference in A3+ print from the 20D, but o'boy was I in for a suprise. The prints are awesome!

Unfortunately, I don't own the camera anymore, I needed more FPS and traded it in for a 1D MkIIn. Allthough I'm very happy with the 1D MkIIn, I might get a 5D for landscape/travel photography.

Patrick Di Fruscia uses 5D now, here is a photo he recently uploaded. I have a couple of 5D albums in Events.

well to be honest I could never go back to my 300D. It performs unbelievably even at ISO 1600. That means I have many more shooting opportunities open to me now. The viewfinder, the buffer size and the full frame are fantastic. And as terje says the quality of the prints are amazing. IMHO

The raw files contain so much data, and can be aken to the max with photoshop processing!

I'd echo terje's thoughts regarding image quality. Also add that the low-light performance is stunning. Usability is outstanding, it's about the same size/weight as a 10D (almost identical weight and dimensions) but with the control layout similar ot the 20D. Very responsive, and the 2.5" LCD is a great thing, and now brighter with the firmware upgrade, though in bright daylight still a little difficult to see well.
I'm very happy I went this direction, even though I have not had much time to shoot lately. I still haven't submitted to a challenge with the 5D :-P

Larus shot this ribbon winner with the 5D-

It really is a joy to use, especially with the larger LCD. I've got one at the office, but I'm content to use the 20D for challenges (especially with the 10-22 lens).

Hi,thanks for the response!
I would love to own a full frame sensor camera but it is over my budget which is 2000$ max.
As upgrade from Rebel to 20D ,I don't see much gain on the long run,I'm going to end up replacing it again next year.

BTW PBASE is down again (almost every day happen)

Has the banding seen in shadows when using AI servo focus from electrical interference been solved yet?
