What would the equivialant angle of my 24mm on a 20d compared to a 5d?

The 24mm on a 5D would give 84 degree coverage, and on the 20D roughly 59-60 degrees. 84 degrees is aprox what human vision is with both eyes open (that's why it's so popular with landscape photographers), so as you can see the 24 is much more useful on the 5D.

thanks Hyperfocal, I'm may try out one of the kit lenes 17-85 and see how I like it. Sometimes 24 just isn't wide enough.
