I have a Dell Inspiron 1150, running XP Pro, and the battery light is acting spastic. It blinks orange three times, then shows green for a second, then blinks again. I've seen it do this before, when the battery has gotten very low. While using it last night, this did indeed happen - the battery got very low and the computer entered standby mode before I could get the AC cord plugged in. Since then, the flashing light won't go away, even though it's charging and is better than 85%.
Any idea why this is, or what I can do?

hi,
well check "power options" in control panel, you can set it up very easy and rather precise by your needs and wishes
i this does not work it might be your battery is slowly failing, or fast :-)
peace,
goran
