As a Site Council member, I'll just chime in here :

Any registered user or paying member may set as their 'Favorite photos' any images which have been uploaded in public contest or portfolios on the site on dpchallenge.com.

It doesn't matter if they only choose nude women. It doesn't matter if they choose nude men. It doesn't matter if they choose only their friends. It doesn't matter if they only choose animals. It doesn't matter if they choose 1 Favorite. It doesn't matter if they choose their limit of Favorites. BOTTOM LINE: it's 100% up to them.

Setting favorites, no matter what the choice, does not constitute an aggressive act, or actionable offense. If a person starts sending you unwanted messages, this is when it becomes an actual ISSUE.

Now, if a user has a problem with another user on this site, they SHOULD NOT call them out in the forums. Rather, they should contact a site council member, or use the 'Contact' link under the 'Help' menu. We will then pursue the situation in a way that best serves the interests of all involved.

Calling them out in the forums just creates an extra level of sensationalism and feeding frenzy that is totally unneccessary.

Thanks --

p.s. I'm locking this thread now.
