I know it's early for the Wildlife challenge, but I had a few decent outtakes and thought I'd share them. None of these are of the animal that I'll be submitting for the challenge.

Feel free to comment and/or post some of your own. :)

I wanted to enter the monkey photo in the challenge, but it has quite a bit of Photoshop tomfoolery on it.

LOL...there will be a LOT of PP tomfoolery in wildlife, I am quite sure. And if I can get a shot off from under my apparent cloudy skies today, I will be one who does a bit of tomfoolery myself! LOL.

VERY nice shots though! Not sure I can get out of my bad camera day to enter this one. It will be a crap shoot, but I will try. Nice to know what I may be up against though! :)

For the purpose of this challenge, "wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment. Now that you know what to photograph, take your best shot!

I wouldn't think that these photos (most, if not all, are zoo shots?) would meet the challenge conditions.

Well if that's the case, we're going to be voting on ALOT of squirrels! LOL

And ducks...

I expect a lot of action in the forums on this one, because I do not believe that everyone is reading the full challenge description.

This one could get ugly...

Hopefully it won't get ugly since this challenge's rules are word-for-word the same as the original Wildlife challenge. And the first place winner was a shot from the Dallas Zoo.

Some shots in the last challenge did bend the rules, but did so in a subtle manner. The fact that they did well does not mean the rules don't apply, just that the shots were good enough to get away with bending the rules. If there are alot of obvious zoo shots it will get a reaction from the voters.
