This may only apply to very few DPC people, but in case anyone is interested.

I've just signed up to take part in Gulf Photo Plus, including Understanding Digital Exposure and the Art of Seeing with Bryan Peterson. The scope of the workshops and lectures on offer seems pretty good as do the prices - although I appreciate this only applies really to those already in the Middle East.

The event covers 4 days; a full schedule of events can be found on the above website.

Living in the Gulf means very limited opportunites to improve one's skills practically with expert advice. I'm frequently green with envy when I hear about courses/workshops/lectures and exhibitions (not to mention basic simple camera groups) in Europe, the US or Australia.

So, having discovered GPP - I thought I'd pass on the info in case it benefits others.
