I see that a new Driver was released for my Radeon Card on the 18th.
My quick question is this, should I uninstall my old driver (They have an uninstal utility available for download)or just install the new driver w/out uninstall.
Previously I never uninstalled, but that utility got me wondering.

Read the readme file, or something else they have with the patch. It should explain what is the difference between consecutive versions, i.e. it should list among other stuff, what were the resolved issues, improvements, bug fixes etc.
If it pertains only to applications you do not use (you will most likely recognize and know what that is), do not bother to install the new driver.
If you recognize something you've experienced before, then go for it.
PS. messing with video drivers is not *that* scary - the bad things that could happen may force you to temporarily use win32 generic driver in safe mode and deal with repairs in 640x480x256 mode, but that's doable. No damage to data is expected. |

I would say no you don't need to uninstall to upgrade the driver. Never seen that to be the case in any driver upgrade.
